Membership Types

Irrespective of the level of membership that you take out, you will need to hold valid paragliding or hang gliding insurance for third party cover of a type equivalent to or better than that provided to BHPA members. Full Members need to be trained to Club Pilot (or equivalent IPPI) level or higher.

Full Membership is available to you if you are a minimum 16 years of age, qualified to Club Pilot or higher and a BHPA Full Flying Member. Fee £20.00 if paid by bank transfer or £21.00 if paid by PayPal.

Associate Membership is for those who are unable to meet the requirements of a Full Member as described above. Fee £10.00 if paid by bank transfer or £10.50 if paid by PayPal.

Visitor Membership is for pilots visiting the island for up to 30 days in any one calendar year. Fee £5 if paid by bank transfer or £5.50 if paid by PayPal.
