Sartfell is a compact site with good top and bottom landings and features a 702 ft top to bottom. The walk up is about 25 minutes and can be driven most of the way in a 4×4 if the ground is reasonably dry.
This site can work really well in thermic conditions with flights to the Point of Ayre achieved from here in the past. The bowl on the east side comes in to its own when the wind is more to the south.
